I’ve been thinking a lot about my hopes and dreams for 2018 and thought I would share them with you. It will also make me accountable to hopefully achieve them! As mentioned in my previous post, I have been on this journey for just over a year now and have loved where publishing A Dog Lover’s Dream has taken me. This year, I would love to try and fulfill some of the following goals. I will of course keep you updated with any success or otherwise that I may have!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone, I hope you and your Four Paws are having a lovely day together. I’ve been lucky enough to have a wonderful Valentine’s gift! The fab people at Waterstones Llandudno have put my book in the shop window as part of their Love Books campaign to celebrate Valentine’s.
Alfie and I have not long got back from our Clogau road trip to do a book signing at three of the stores. We were lucky enough to be invited to spend the afternoon with Clogau Boutique, Westfield, London, the Clogau Outlet Store, Bridgend and Clogau Boutique in Cardiff. Our journey began on the Wednesday 31st January and I left with Alfie and his Ted at midday to travel down to London.
Since my last post, I am pleased to say that the Clogau collaboration has all gone ahead successfully. The Dog Lover’s Dream Milestones Charm is now available online and is proving to be very popular. The video for A Love Note is also now live and can be viewed in this article.
Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything on here, Christmas and New Year kind of got in the way, which I am sure it did for most of you! I hope you and your four-legged friends had a fab festive period. Alfie and I had a lovely chilled break although we have been busy little bees with a special Clogau project…
When I was working out the release dates for the six teaser videos, Christmas seemed a long way off, but it is now just round the corner, I can’t believe it! I hope you have enjoyed watching the short films, it is now time to show you the finished film for A Dog Lover’s Dream in its entirety.
I hope you enjoyed the penultimate teaser video that I released, albeit a little bit later than planned, last week. Alfie and I had a busy time down in London, and have some fab festive piccies to share with you soon. In the meantime, it’s that time of the week again and we are on the final teaser video tonight!
I hope you weren’t too sad watching the last teaser video. Moving swiftly on, just like the weeks as we creep ever closer to Christmas, here is Teaser Video Five – Man’s Best Friend Can Be No Better. Despite the fact that my book explores a magical world where dogs can speak, in reality there is simply nothing I would change about Alfie. I love him just the way he is. So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this next film.
Welcome to another Thursday evening and therefore it’s time for Teaser Video Four – The Vets, from my Dog Lover’s Dream Collection. This verse was the sad one to record as it is all about that feeling you have when your dog isn’t well. Charlie, Rory and James really reflected the sombre mood for me in this video. For all those of you with pets, I’m know you will relate to this…
It was with great pleasure to be invited back to school today! Alfie and I visited my old school Rydal Penrhos, Colwyn Bay to share our stories with the pupils.
We started the day with a lovely walk in Pwllycrochan woods just above Rydal and then headed down for morning session at the school. The day started in the library with the reception class and years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 throughout the morning.
