So, it’s been such a long time since I posted anything on social media or indeed wrote in this Journal. I felt it was time to open up the laptop again and ease myself back into this as the nights start to draw in and  hopefully my creativity will take a boost from the change in season.

What have Alfie and I been up to?

Well, our day job running the motorcycle dealership has pretty much taken over this Summer and we’re in for a mega busy weekend with 1st September new registrations this Saturday! We’ve been selling lots of motorcycles by day and enjoying long walks on the gorgeous summer nights -in fact I took the image that accompanies this post on one such evening.

My books have still been selling in the motorbike shop, for those wanting signed copies and a cuddle with Alfie (!), and through my local stockists Waterstones Llandudno, Haulfre Gardens Tearooms, Providero Fine Teas and Coffees, The Clontarf HotelL’s Coffee & Bookshop, Hinton’s of Conwy and Snowdonia Nurseries & Garden Centre.

What’s gone before…

Last time I blogged, I mentioned that I was having a sample produced in the Far East. Whilst this did happen, and I must say a special thanks to Mookie, the commercial aspect in terms of quantities was sadly not viable. I did, however, pick up the plush project with a very talented young lady from Bangor Uni and will share the results of that soon!

I also mentioned that I was having my ‘A Love Note’ poem illustrated by Holly Maguire and this is still ongoing. I am just working out what direction to take this in…

The Me and My Dog project has been put on a back seat for now as I haven’t been able to get time out from the dealership to give this the dedication it needs.

Looking ahead

Well, despite some of the projects being on pause, I am at the start of another project, which I am working on for Christmas. Yes the dreaded C word! I have a meeting today with Bangor Uni and Santander as another video starring Alfie Doodle is in the pipeline to help promote this next opportunity. Watch this space…

Keep in touch

Meanwhile, thank you for reading my post, I do hope that you have had a fab Summer. As usual do get in touch with your thoughts and comments and let me know how you and your Four Paws have enjoyed this fabulous sunshine we’ve had.
