Sorry its been a while since I last posted. It’s been such a crazy year since I published last February that Alfie Doodle and I kind of needed a time out! I have still quietly been working away on a few projects in the background so thought it’s time I shared some of what I’ve been doing.
Alfie Plush
I am chuffed to bits to be working with a super-talented lady, and good friend, Wendy Munt from Be Inspired Consulting who has been guiding me through the process of getting a plush version of Alfie created.
My illustrator from ‘A Dog Lover’s Dream’, John McNally has kindly produced some turnaround drawings, which will form the basis of the plush toy. Here’s a sneaky peak at one of his drawings:
The complete turnaround set of drawings are currently being looked at by a manufacturer in the Far East, whom Wendy introduced me to. I am hoping to have a sample in the near future and then it will be a case of seeing if I can afford to go into production!
A Love Note
Some of you will know my latest pooch poem ‘A Love Note’, which was used as part of the Clogau Gift Set recently. I am collaborating with a lovely illustrator called Holly Maguire to produce an exclusive print. Her artwork is incredible and I am excited to be working with her. If you aren’t already following mine and Alfie’s adventures on Facebook or Instagram, it’s time to do so! We will be looking for 3 lucky doggies to feature on this exclusive print and you’ll only be able to enter the competition through my social media!
In the pipeline
I am having conversations with Bangor University again… this time to produce a pilot series for YouTube called ‘Me and My Dog’. At this time I can’t reveal too much, but again you and your dog will be able to get involved!
Get in touch
Please do let me know if you are interested in any of the above projects… if you want to be involved… or want to share your thoughts or expertise on what I am doing. I’d love to hear from you…
