When I was working out the release dates for the six teaser videos, Christmas seemed a long way off, but it is now just round the corner, I can’t believe it! I hope you have enjoyed watching the short films, it is now time to show you the finished film for A Dog Lover’s Dream in its entirety.

The making of the finished film for A Dog Lover’s Dream

It has been an absolute privilege to have worked alongside the students at Bangor University. Charlie, Rory and James brought some great ideas and professionalism along to each shoot. And of course, none of this would have happened without the support of Alix Charnley, the best business/student matchmaker around! So, now that this project is sadly finished, I’d like to say a huge thank you to the three of them.

I hope you have enjoyed the films as much as I enjoyed being part of putting them together. To think that just 12 months ago, I’d only just written the poem that has become A Dog Lover’s Dream, which is now in print and film! It has been a wonderful journey so far!

Thank you so much for continuing to read this blog and watching the films. Please do let me know what you think of the finished film for A Dog Lover’s Dream. And if any of you know a good animator, please let me know… I’d love to recreate this poem along the lines of the Snowman and the Snowdog (the ultimate Christmas animation).

There’s always something in the pipeline with my books and I’m just in the process of finalising some very special festive shots. I hope to release these next week in the run up to Christmas. Don’t forget there is still time to purchase either A Dog Lover’s Dream or A Dog Lover’s Nightmare and get a signed copy for Christmas.
